Control File Streaming

From the Video Surveillance WebCam Software menu items.

• run file streaming - enable it, run at program startup do save configuration after. Runs Stream File Program.
• just stream files with alarms
• start and stop file streaming to the net
• show and hide the Stream File Program
• the type of video files to send to the Stream File Program.

From the Stream File Program

Following are configured in the Stream File Program menu items. Therefore you must run the Stream File Program as above.

• start and stop streaming
• select a profile ie streaming properties to eg image size, bit rate
• the stream file video port
• the type of video files the Stream File Program will be receiving from the Video Surveillance WebCam Software
• hide encoder when runs
• auto replay / cycle the files being streamed
• start the program in the stopped not streaming state
• number of files to play forward at a time when you select Stream Forward From
• how to make new profiles ie stream files at larger image sizes and higher bit rate - use menu item Advanced.
• test file streaming works ok

From the Remote User Interface - web browser

The following are executed from the remote user interface Admin web page.

• start and run the file streaming program
• connect with media player to the stream file video stream
• stream one file
• stream a group of files at once - Forward From
• just stream files with alarms in them
• just stream new files
• stop streaming
• allow some commands without logon - can also be done from the Web Server Program.
• change streaming profile / configuration.
• change number of files to play forward
